Ms. Nicole Muchowicz
Ms. Muchowicz is a graduate of Dominican University's School of Education with her Master of Arts in Teaching Degree. She graduated with certifications and endorsements in Secondary Education, English and Theatre, and with a publication in the Education Policy Analysis Archives, for her grant research work. Ms. Muchowicz received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from Columbia College Chicago. Prior to that, she studied Bachelor's level coursework at New York University, where she majored in Comparative Literature and minored in French Language and Literature. This is Ms. Muchowicz's fifth year teaching English at St. Joseph High School. She also teaches Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, Introduction to Theatre, and Speech and Debate. This year, Ms. Muchowicz will also be co-teaching an interdisciplinary course with STEM Dean, Ms. Calderon, called 'Crime Investigation'. Prior to teaching high school, Ms. Muchowicz was a substitute teacher for two years at Lyons District 103.
Ms. Muchowicz is also Theatre Director and Yoga Instructor at SJHS.
