Before coming to St. Joseph, I served for 18 years at St. Scholastica Academy on the north side of Chicago. At St. Scholastica I taught Theology, International Baccalaureate Philosophy and Theory of Knowledge, and served as Dean, Assistant Principal, and Principal. I currently serve on the Legislative Commission of the IHSA. Among the awards I have received are a two week immersion conference at Dar al-Islam masjid in Abiquiu, New Mexico, and a six week study grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to study Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War under Dr. Charles Hamilton at San Diego State University.
